Brad's Background

Growing up in Concord, Brad commenced his physiotherapy career working in North Sydney. His exposure to corporate clients has given him proven results in managing acute and chronic neck, shoulder and low back pain from postural insufficiencies. In addition, Brad worked as a consultant Physiotherapist for Zurich Insurance Group.

At the time, Brad also held various roles with Manly United Football Club. He had extensive contact time with the Manly youth, men’s and women’s senior teams and toured South Korea with Manly United’s u15s squad in 2017. In addition, Brad spent a season providing Physiotherapy coverage for Northern Sydney Rebels Gridiron Club; Women’s Division.

This led to Brad taking a role with Sydney FC, working as physiotherapist for the senior academy in the NSW NPL1 competition. Brad’s focus with Sydney FC was to develop players between 16-21 years of age reach their goal of signing an A League contract or abroad. During his time at Sydney FC, 3 of Brad’s academy players signed contracts for the first team, 2 signed overseas contracts and over 10 players represented their country in both the u17s Australian Joey’s squad and u20s Young Socceroos squad.

Brad later moved clinics to the Sutherland shire and worked in the biggest sports physiotherapy clinic in southern Sydney. During this time, Brad built and set up the medical and physiotherapy coverage for St George City youth teams in the NPL 2 division.

After these experiences, Brad then established Point Health & Performance in Mortlake. Point Health & Performance became the official physiotherapy providers for Canterbury Bankstown FC who play in the NPL 2 division and the Australian Youth Football Institute.

Throughout his clinical and sporting experiences, Brad devoted time working in aged care centres in Gladesville and Hunters Hill. The role was to assist the elderly with management of conditions such as Arthritis and post operative procedures such as Total Hip & Knee replacements.

Outcomes which Brad focused on were improving patient mobility, function, balance and stairs. Within the elderly population, injuries due to falls significantly reduces quality of life and function. Within the Aged care centres, Brad established Falls Prevention Programs which saw a significant reduction in the incidence of falls, and falls’ related injuries of residents.

My philosophy is to provide the best support humanely possible to those in the community. I believe that practitioners can significantly impact lives, for better or worse. I also believe practitioners have a responsibility to help individuals develop their medical knowledge, and create independent strategies for life’s events.
